produce different results. Which engines are more precise, or current?
Which use the same database, and which crawl the Web themselves?
What are the different types of searches? How many different search
sources are there?

| Don't try to answer! There
are many wonderful people doing their best to assemble reference desks
of information. Some will focus their efforts in a specific domain
and know those best sources. Others work to cover as much ground as
possible, and to organize sites by subjects and activities. |
